This is a novel I received an ARC from Vi Carter from, in exchange for an honest review. Its a mix of The Problem with Forever and a lot of Colleen Hoovers writing. It's a perfect blend that frames the love story between Grace and Derek. The book starts of covering the struggles and grief that Grace faces with the death of her brother two years ago, that's a piece of her the puzzle called her past, she tells nobody about until Derek.

She successfully hides all of her past, until it all comes crashing back. Derek vows to keep her safe, but with what her past hides, can he?

Vi Carter writes an emotionally packed storyline, that faces relatable struggles for the reader such as going to college, horrible past, trying to create a foundation of a new life and much more while also providing a bittersweet love story that will leave you feeling just right at the end.
