Invisible Girl-Lisa Jewell

My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5

The prologue grips you and pulls you in, as soon as you finish it. Only leaving you to discover a great story intricately woven between multiple points of views, which nobody can pull of like Lisa Jewell. Each time the point of view switched it revealed a little more information of where Saffyre Maddox is.

In Invisible Girl, we have a 30+ year-old virgin (Owen), who loses his job due to claims of sexual misconduct. Reading up on what being an incel is, this research slowly becomes a constant in his newly found free time doesn’t help when a case of a missing teen literally lands in his yard.

Then, there is the Fours family. They live across the street from Owen. They have always been suspicious of their neighbor from across the way. Roan is a therpaist who she visited with for three years, but never revealed too much or any of her trauma to him. His wife Cate, a physiotherapist, now a SAHM, and their two children Georgia and Josh. They too have their flaws and secrets.

So when Saffyre goes missing, all questions are being asked and one person knows the answers. Is it linked to the rash of attacks happening to girls in the area?

the characters are very well-defined all each having their own flaws, virtues and depth. The conflicts keep you turning the pages at record speed trying to figure out the answers of Saffyre.

If you are a fan of Lisa Jewell's other work this is 100% another of hers that you should be reading. Everyone loves unraveling what seems like a house of mystery right?
