My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐

Beautiful Disaster is about Abby Abernathy who is a complete good girl through and through, she doesn't drink, smoke or curse and has the above average amount of cardigans within her wardrobe.
On the other hand, Travis Maddox is a tattooed covered bad boy who spends his nights winning money at illegal fighting rings and your average college charmer. Abby's disinterest to his charm catches the eye of Travis, leaving him wanting more of this good girl Abby. Travis and Abby make a bet that Travis must remain abstinent for a month, if Abby loses she must live at his apartment for the same amount of time.
The two are a match that has undeniable chemistry from the start, it is a well written novel that I enjoyed my first time around but later down the line my opinions changing after talking to other book readers about it and seeing their opinions too.
This book is good, but its also bad and let me explain why it can be. It depends which way you look at the novel when you read it. You can see it as she dangles this "she can take it all away" over Travis the entire book and it can upset some readers. When I read this book at first, I LOVED this novel and thought it was a beautifully written novel of two broken souls trying to move past the hurt they have with each other.
“You know why I want you? I didn’t know I was lost until you found me. I didn’t know what alone was until the first night I spent without you in my bed. You’re the one thing I’ve got right. You’re what I’ve been waiting for, Pigeon.”
That being said, I recently learned that this Author is racist and have some pretty horrible things and we don't support that in the book community. There is well over 18,000 reviews on this book and it is deeply loved across the globe, take what you will from this before choosing to read this novel.
I did have current plans to re-read this novel, and I still will but I want to read the rest of the books in the series first because I already have them and haven't read them. I picked three stars for this book as its what I think is fitting for the moment, this may change, and Ill bookmark any edits made.
